Come have the most Nova Scotian evening possible! Learn to shuck oysters with Wild Hearts Sea Farm and learn to rug hook an oyster with H.H.Hooks, October 18th from 5-8 pm at No. 9 in Lunenburg, NS (135 Montague Street, Lunenburg, NS, B4N 1R6) - this is an in person event!
In this 3 hour workshop you will learn about oysters and how to shuck them with Laurie from Wild Hearts Oyster Farm. This includes 8 oysters, a shucking knife, a shucking lesson and a talk about oyster farming. You will also learn how to rug hook a small (coaster sized) oyster rug with Hanna (aka H.H.Hooks) which includes a rug hook, backing material with oyster pattern pre-drawn, all yarn needed for your project and an embroidery hoop.
Food and drink will be available for purchase at No.9 as well if you want to make an evening of it!
